GARX insulted boxcars

These cars are not exactly like the originals, but mighty close.

 

Just finished a 10th repaint of this type of car.

It takes four different decal sets including one custom print to make these cars.

 

Those are great! Did you use the K4 decal set as part of the project?

 

With K4 you need the QA&P GARX set and the set for Frisco 86’ autoparts boxcar. I got the coonskin logo from a Microscale, and the “southeast-southwest” lettering was custom printed.
I like K4 products because their decal film is sturdy. Handling one huge decal like “Ship it on the Frisco” is really not difficult.
