My Precision Scale Frisco coonskin number plate arrived yesterday and I'm ready to work on my black shiny Proto 0-6-0. Here are some questions where I would be interested in others input.

    1) Right now it is bright and shiny plactic. There are some parts I don't want to paint as I paint the front end graphite and dull the rest of the boiler. I have in my memory I read years ago where MR was using something to "unglue" installed parts without destroying they. Anyone aware of this?

    2) What mix of black look best on steam locomotives. I want it to look in service, but not look like it is ready for the bone pile.

    3) Where do I find decals with little numbers to fit inside the coonskin, the headlight side lens and the domes? Are they included in the Oddbals set?

    Thanks in advance.
