I have been assembling hundreds of individual sheets of plans from a box that once contained several Standard Plan Books, the oldest sheet dated 1906 up to 1915. The plans I am sorting are for the physical plant, like the Depots, Sheds, Track items, Bridge Trestles, etc. What I am missing is an index or the pages that tell what order this all goes in. Does anyone have an index for one of this vintage Plan Books? Any help would be appreciated. Dale Slechta
The main reason for working with all these documents is to digitise them and all have been saved in high resolution Tiff images. I want to reassemble them in the original order if at all possible but I need to know what order they might of been in. I know someone out there has one of these that still has an index that will help me to get the order correct, just for the sake of historical preservation. The Plan Books I have for the 1970's are complete with an index, but they have a whole different system of numbering pages on each sheet and won't help me with these old ones.
