    |-|I recently visited the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis and found an interesting business car on one the tracks. It is the "Bluebonnet" and it carries the Frisco name. (See attached photos). When I returned home I checked the Frisco Railroad Library website to find out something about the car but didn't even see it mentioned anywhere. Further searching on the internet revealed that the car was originally named the "Milwaukee" and was owned by the Milwaukee Road, then later donated by a private owner to the Museum. When the Museum was nearing completion of the restoration of Frisco steam engine #1522 the volunteers decided that they would need some support cars to accompany the engine on it's excursions. An old baggage car was restored into a tool car and named the "Black Gold" and an old baggage/dormitory car was restored into a crew car and named the "Firefly". Both of these cars are also at the Museum and are lettered as SLSTA for the St. Louis Steam Train Association. However, the business car named "Bluebonnet" is clearly lettered for the Frisco. The "Bluebonnet" then travelled with the 1522 on many excursion trips through the 1990's and into the 21st century. Thousands of people saw the car then and others continue to see it today at the Museum and believe that it is an authentic Frisco business car. Although the Frisco Railroad never actually owned the car, maybe it should be considered as an adopted child of the Frisco since it travelled with the 1522 and carries the Frisco name. What do you think?
