The following message was sent to you via the St. Louis-San Francisco (Frisco) Railway Historical and Modeling Society Contact Us form by LARRY HOPPER ( mailto:LARRYHXL11@_______.NET ). -------------------------------- There is a picture in the August 1935 issue of Frisco Employes Magazine on p 17 of roundhouse foreman C S Keiser holding a catch of fish. The picture is from a CD offered on eBay and other sites and duplicates the files kept at the St Louis Library. The problem is it is not of sufficient quality for decent reproduction in a history journal. Do you have, or know of the whereabouts of, a copy of this issue and if a scan of 300 - 600 dpi can be made of that picture from the magazine directly? Any reasonable cost will be assumed and all I require is a scan of the full picture only. I repeat that a printing from the cds and other digital files available is not sufficient for decent reproduction and it must be made from the magazine. Please let me know if this is possible or you can lead me to somewhere / someone who can do this. Thank you. Larry Hopper PS. I can send you a copy of the digital version for reference if requested since this form doesn't provide for attachments. LH
Charlie, If no one on here has a copy, he may want to try to contact the folks at - http://thelibrary.org/ Basically, the Springfiled, MO library. They have copies of the employee magazines (http://thelibrary.org/lochist/frisco/magazines/) but I have no clue if they have originals or just pdf copies.
