I am looking for a few DC locomotives once used on the AT&N for my freelanced, theoretical, modern-era AT&N (DC) layout. This would be a good opportunity for anyone making the switch to DCC or just getting rid of some unwanted DC locomotives to make a sale. My source of information is: http://www.msrailroads.com/AT&N.htm. I believe I can run DCC locomotives on my DC layout but I'm not 100% sure. I operate the layout on a "shoe string" budget so I have better luck purchasing used DC equipment. The DC locomotives that I am interested in are: 4-6-0's, 2-8-0's, 2-10-0's, RS-1's, GE 44 ton switchers, any other pre-Frisco AT&N locomotives I may not be aware of. I would also like to know what color (if not black) was used by the AT&N on locomotives. It looks like the RS-1 color photos I've seen appear to be in a dark blue paint. If you have any of these items for sale, reply or send me a private message with a price and I'll let you know whether or not that's in the "shoe string" budget.
