Unfortunately the end doors (bar gate) and windows (steel mesh) have been fortified which distract from the original appearance. These items were in an attempt to reduce vandalism. The caboose sits on a north / south axis in the northeast corner of the park. The car is east of the intersections of US 64 Highway (a/k/a Missouri Highway 17), East 5th Street, East 7th Street and Park Street.
