i am interested in blow down drains Bill Darnaby has in the loco servicing terminals on the maumee route where did he get the information? how did he builld them ?id like to see a pic of his drains. were they typical of mid western railroads?what did the frisco have for blow down drains ?when the boiler of the locomotive was blown down, where did the sediment come out at?how were locomotive wash racks constructed ?how were out side round house steam lines constructed? where can i find examples of these items ?
