Bachmann HO Frisco GP35

    For those interested, the 2013 Bachmann catalog http://www.bachmanntrains.net/Catalogs/2013/2013_Bachmann.pdf lists a Frisco GP35 road no. 726. List price including onboard DCC is $99. One of the internet suppliers I use is HO Hobbies and they are giving a 30% discount if pre-ordered by March 29.

    I'd rather get an Athearn RTR for a few dollars more. There's one on eBay right now.

    To each his own but I bought one of the athearm rtr gp35s and it had some problems. Bachman may not be the best detailed but the one engine I bought from them about 5 years ago ran great.

    I have a custom-painted and-detailed Bachmann GP35 with "torpedo-boat" air tanks, DCC-equipped, and it runs just fine. Goes well with my two Athearn RTRs and Front Range/Rail Power Products combo.
