Hey Guys! I know I posted a few weeks ago about sniping on ebay, and while still against it..... I made a discovery! There is a Ebay Power seller who is listing the new Bachmann Spectrum 2-10-2's at a pretty good price. He starts the auctions out at $1.00 and the snipers really scoop them up at the end of each auction. I tried sniping in order to win 3 of em. He also lists the Spectrum 2-8-0's the same way. His store name is "thefavoritespot". I found it worth it to get 1 of these for $46 dollars and the other 2 for $60 dollars a piece. Ok I change my tune a bit. For things like this Sniping isn't such a bad thing.....I guess I have graduated to playing the new game.
    Thanks Guys

Yea, I know this is a very old thread, but - Bachmann 2-10-2's (DCC, but no sound) going for $70.00? Unfortunately, the KCS units don't look a thing like the Frisco units, but still . . . .

Has anyone succesfully converting a KCS unit to a Frisco look alike?

I havent converted KCS 2-10-2 to FRISCO, but I have 2 other 2-10-2's that I have done this too. It has been so long since their conversion I have forgotten what roadname they were.

The transition was pretty easy though.

The KCS engines are "Light" 2-10-2's. Second hand from Ann Arbor. The Frisco 2-10-2's are pre-USRA. Is this not correct?
