I cannot find it in the State map book.

    Where is Ashbury, MO?

    It is spelled "Asbury".

Asbury is northwest of Joplin, MO on the Frisco's Girard Branch.

It was adjacent to the the Kansas City Southern (KCS) and U.S. 171 Highway, I believe.

Wow, thanks! That was really quick.

I appreciate the correction, and have found Asbury, right on the Kansas and Missouri state line on the route to, I believe Ft. Scott, KS.

KCS goes to Pittsburg first and skirts past Fort Scott on the east into Missouri through "Eve."

Of course, Asbury was located on the Frisco's Girard Branch, which ran between Girard, KS and Carl Jct, MO via Pittsburg, KS.
