Amory, Mississippi roundhouse Amory, Mississippi, 1965. Left six stall portion built about 1927, right ten stall portion built prior to 1900 and not in use by 1965. Power house located to the right of roundhouse was removed by 1965. Amory locomotive department closed in the spring of 1974. Older portion of roundhouse demolished about 1974 and newer portion demolished 1976. Third photograph looking towards the turntable from inside of the older portion.
