There are a fair number of "FT Collection" images that have appeared in the Archive, and likely will continue to do so (I know because I contributed them). "FT" is the late Frank Tribbey, who worked for the Frisco for many years as an operator, mostly in Tulsa, but also, I believe in OKC. Almost all the photos he took (and which appear in the archival postings) were taken in that general area, so for those who like nothing better than detective work regarding photo locations, I would say turn your attention to the area between roughly Springfield and OKC. Unfortunately, the individual who gained custody of the Tribbey collection after Frank's death has also shuffled this mortal coil, so our best resource is no longer available.

This is a good illustration on why I am constantly prodding people to share their collections through the Frisco Archive. Once it's gone, it's gone forever folks. :(

Those images that you all have in your collection would look good on the Frisco Archive.

I have one single slide in my entire collection, its 6 cabooses in Memphis. 4 SLSF and 2 UP. The neat thing is that the 4 SLSF cabooses are all steel but all different models. Where should I mail it? Also I will be looking out for more slides at the local train shows.

    Paul,

Bob (Oldguy) is the slide scanner. If anyone wants to mail a slide to be scanned, we can cover the postage back and forth.
