Any one know what Frisco's 1964 desk calendar looked like? I wouldn't mind having one hanging in the train room wall. I have a 1962, and if the '64 used the same artwork, it would be easy to scan and photo shop my '62 and create a 1964.
Thanks! If you have one, perhaps a scan of it? That way I could just print it. (Which automatically gives me numerically correct days. Otherwise, if I have to create one using my '62 calendar, I'll have the wrong numeric days.) If scanning isn't practical, then just seeing it would tell the tale as to whether it's the same. Here's what the '62 desk calendar looks like: From the memory vault: After I became friends with the Frisco's Van Buren depot agent Buddy Stedman back in 1974 or so, upon learning I liked trains/railroading, he loaded me up with old Frisco wall and desk calendars galore that were in the depot. The wall calendars were simply stuck on a hat stob as each year as received. I think there was something like 8-10 years worth of wall calendars and who knows how many desk calendars. I kept those for many years, but prior to one of our moves, I ended up taking them to a train meet and selling them. I "think" I recall my pristine 1962 is from that stack of desk calendars that Buddy gave me, but I'm not for sure. I "think" I remember that it was in such nice condition that I just couldn't part with it. I've been glad I didn't many times over.
Nice calendar, that is the year my wife was born. I was six. @Coonskin, Thank you for posting, beings back good memories. Joe
