      Hello,
My Grandfather, Bert B. Tyler was a career Frisco man. I still have his twenty year watch, He instilled in me my keen interest in railroads and his Frisco. I recently have decided to model an HO scale Frisco railway. I was seeking information on several aspects for this project and found this site. My plan is to model an abbreviated Fort Smith Ar. yard circa 1948-!953. This will include roundhouse, sand tower, coaling tower, water tower, diesel tank, caboose and car facilities, consist lines, depot and other facilities as required. The mainlines will depart Ft. Smith Union Station to Van Buren, Ar. Depot and on to Waldron, Ar. This line will cross Lee Creek through Van Buren across two trestles and through Waldron tunnel before looping back to Fort Smith through scenic Arkansas.I would like to hear about the life and lore of Frisco during the time period I've set.
      Thanks
