Attached is the River & Cape Division Employee Timetable #28 dated May 24, 1914. Thanks to Pat Hiatte (friscoot) for sharing.
Neat to see that Chaffee was still clearly a hopping Chicago and Eastern Illinois (C&EI) terminal for passenger and freight traffic some 9 years after the facilities and town sprang up. From what I have always read, Chaffee's reason for being was to serve as a both a Frisco and a C&EI division point when both were under Yoakum control.
And a location away from the ravages of the might Mississippi River on the Shops area in Cape Girardeau, MO over the years. If the river had not been a factor, Chaffee, MO most likely would not have been established by the Frisco as the routes into and out of Cape Girardeau were already established.
