If someone has access to an old system timetable that would indicate the sidings and house track locations and lengths between Quanah and Floydada on the QA&P. I grew up about 1/2 mile west of Swearingen, I know there were big stock pens and loading ficilities and a siding there but can't remember how long it was. Thats why the highway made the curve away from the tracks there. I would be happy to purchase a system timetable if anyone has one they want to part with. THANKS Tom
Hi Tom I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I will post anyway there might be something you and others on the board can use. The book I scanned this from is dated June 1950 however there is a date on the scan of April 30 1950 I don't know which will be correct. I hope this helps |-| Have a great day Darren
Thanks Darren, It's not exactly what I am looking for but it is GREAT information which leads to more questions, This internet is pretty good stuff really, isn't it ? Boy had the QA&P actually been able to build to El Paso man what a different world we would be living in. This is good information, thanks for taking the time to scan and post for us to share. Kind Regards Tom
