train nut

I recently read a message relating to a Frisco passenger train wreck at Holland,Mo in July of 1950. I sent an inquiry to the Sprinfield-Greene County Library about this. They sent me some newspaper articles with details and names of the train crew who were involved.
The conductor's name was not given,however. Does anyone know any more about this. When I was three years old,my mother,younger brother and I rode a train from Sprinfield to West Plains,Missouri in the Summer of that year. Thanks.
