Hey Mark, Wanted to say thanks for taking time out to help Austin and I with our first operating session at Rick's last month. You're a great source of information pertaining to all things Frisco and we were able to incorporate most of what we learned into our operations at home thanks to your knowledge. Mark- One of the problems of having an unfinished basement is you can keep thinking of new trackplans and don't get settled on one thing. I have converted the West Bottoms track profiles to a workable trackplan. Besides having to kitbash about 10 large brick buildings and having to come up with a bunch of unavailable reefers, it appears doable. But...................... Working the 19th street yard really got me thinking about yard operations. I have a straight run of 25 ft, so it appears feasable. You know so much about actual operations, so here is my question. Rick has the Frisco run transfers to all other railroads in KC and come back light. Is that really how it works? There would be something like 12 other railroads in KC. How would Frisco get trackage rights over all the railraods? What would I model? It would have to be a railroad with a smaller yard if I stay in KC. So UP, RI, Wabash, ATSF (more many reasons), MP, Milwaukee , BN and KCS would be out. And Rick has already done the Frisco. That leaves Katy, CNW and GM& O. I think all three of these ran about two trains, two out each day. So, do you know how transfers were actually conducted? Thanks in advance. John
