I was born, and raised most of my childhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma, till 1982. I was 11 when I had to leave Frisco country, and moved to Colorado, and then Texas. Nine years later, I ended up back here in Frisco country (Tulsa) again. I think I was born with a passion for the railroad. And of course the Frisco was my favorite, and still is. When I moved back to Tulsa in the early 1990's. What free time I had, was spent hanging out down at the 17th st. rail fan parking lot. There I met Frank Tribby, and Dick Brundage, as well as all the others. Frank soon discovered how interested I was in learning about the Frisco. Frank taught me a ton about the Frisco, and how it operated. Since he worked for the BN at the time. He would take me along with him to trips to the engine house, and stuff like that. I had a lot of fun learning about how the Frisco operated, and took care of business with tons of pride.
