Wow! One of the best produced videos I've ever seen for V scale or Trainz. Check out what they have available here. Very high quality payware at reasonable prices. I'm trying to talk them into making an SLSF doodlebug. http://www.kltrainz.com
That V-Scale stuff never ceases to impress me. Thanks for the link. Makes me want to get a home computer and try it. I always say that but never do it but then again I have the attention span of a goldfish sometimes.
That truly is THE best V scale video production/presentation I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing it, Derrick!
K&L seems to know how to make handsome 8-coupled steam and already have the CB&Q O class 4-8-4. Doodlebugs are fine, but maybe their next project should be a 4500?
Do these allow in cab operation like the old Train Simulator from Microsoft? Or are they just runby scenes?
Absolutely. Trainz offers so much more than the old and dated MS program. Really your imagination is the limit with Trainz.
Nice cab shots, to be sure, but Don may appreciate these a bit more. It is possible to move the levers with the mouse and the gauges indicate. Notice the injector valve is turned on the fireman's side in "Backhead." I could have pulled the throttle back to give it more steam, but wanted to keep the backgrounds where there was some reasonable scenery. That way, there was something to see when we lean out the cab and look. Alas, it is not Frisco, but a CNJ P-47. We have to get the guys working on Frisco!
