Folks, As I trudge along with indexing the Frisco Modelers Information Group (FMIG) newsletters, I am running into a few cabooses where either my eyesight or my available technology will not allow me to make out the numbers of some. Where prototype photographs are included in the newsletters, I would really like to include those in the index so that modelers and historians alike can easily find specific numbers. Ultimately, I am hoping some of you may be able to clarify. Perhaps those who may still have original newsletter copies in their possession, can better make out the numbers. My wish list: Newsletter #37 Page 17: Outside braced cabooses with baggage doors - numbers? Transfer cabooses on flatcars - numbers?* * The one at the very bottom shows the Kansas City 19th Street Yard engine house in the background, so perhaps this will help someone identify this one. Page 19: Left column, middle photograph - caboose SLSF 1107? Thanks, in advance, for any clarification that Frisco Nation can provide! Best Regards,
Chris, I am confused, I think you must be talking about issue #36, not #37? Page 15, not page 17 - Top upper left column, outside braced side door caboose is SLSF 156. The outside braced side door caboose below it in the left column is SLSF 157. In right column, the second photograph down is transfer caboose SLSF 1300. The numbers on the two transfer cabs below it are not readable. Page 18, not page 19 - Yes, the 3-window car is caboose SLSF 1107. Ken
Indeed, Herr Wulfert. I, too, was confused! Correct you are. It is in issue #36. My apologies for confusion. Thanks for picking up on this! And, thanks for the input on the cabooses! Best Regards,
