We are going to paint caboose SLSF 1291 with the "ship it" scheme.

While graphic companies are capable of using decals to letter our cabooses, I would much rather use original Frisco paint stencils for a more authentic appearance.

I am looking for all of them, the "Ship it on The Frisco!" stencil, the coonskin logo stencil, the reporting marks and numbers.

Regarding the "ship it" stencils, I have noticed two different font variations on original Frisco cabooses, and either one will be fine.

Does anybody have or know of any caboose car body stencils for cabooses?

There have to be some somewhere on the planet because the caboose at Granby, MO is an old Northern Pacific (NP) caboose and it was painted brown after it arrived in Granby.

The Frisco logos on it were definitely painted on with original Frisco stencils.

I will add a photograph of the NP caboose at Granby and you can see the use of the original stencils.

A phone call to Granby, MO yielded no known information on the painter of the caboose.

    Paul,

I will get the name of the folks who redid the caboose in Bentonville, AR last year.

I suspect it is the same folks who did the original job in 1990s.

He had big sheet with perforations and used something like a ponce wheel to create outlines.

    They are based in Bentonville.
