Working with Employee Timetables (ETT) this week reminded me of a question that has puzzled me for a while.

The oldest ETT's that I have seen all included Special Instructions usually called "Special Rules".

This practice seems to have ended in the early 1930s for a period of 10 to 15 years and then they reappear.

I know that Missouri Pacific (MP) Railroad did something similar at about the same time. In their case they issued what they called Special Instructions booklets. They were Supplementary to the Uniform Code of Operating Rules.

Did the Frisco have anything similar in the 1930s and 1940s?

If so, does anyone have one?

Yes, the Frisco did have "Special Instructions" that were issued in booklet form by Division.
