Folks, Found this photograph of the Post Brothers Drain Tile Company at Commerce, MO. http://www.usgennet.org/usa/mo/county/scott/gallery/gallery7/ga07-07-g.htm The rail line at the bottom would have been the original Leachville Subdivision alignment from Marquette to Leachville, AR via Brooks Jct. MO. Any Scissorbill Country folk know more about this industry? Excellent detective work, Keith and Robert. Looks like I would need to consider backdating my modeling efforts, or fudging history a bit for the sake of modeler's license! I had noticed that present-day aerials of Commerce, MO show a larger clearing to the north of town adjacent to the abandoned roadbed. Seems like this might have been the place. Best Regards,
