Hoping to talk one of you folks with turnout jigs into building a HO scale left hand double radius curved turnout approximately 22"/18" or 20"/18", outside/inside radii. I can't justify the purchase price of a jig, tools, and materials just for one turnout. Can't find one pre-assembled. Would pay fair price for someone to make one. PM me if interested. Thanks
Check this out Craig. I have one used one for many years in an industrial setting. I just set it up to use the caboose ground throw. https://www.ebay.com/itm/194985218081?hash=item2d66065021:g:aH4AAOSwHRpiUhLe
Purchased. I've checked Ebay several times and apparently missed it, along with several Google searches and vendors. Thanks Tom, I appreciate it.
That's great Craig, I hope you get many years of service. A word though, I would check it with an NMRA guage before installation to avoid troubles. As info a worn hacksaw blade a couple inches long is a good clearance tool for frogs and guard rails if there is stuff in there.
Craig, I had not been on the computer Saturday, so I missed this. I have 24/18 FastTracks Left and Right switches that I had built but not used. With a little simple tweaking, you could make either work. I would be willing to sell either for $10 plus shipping to you.
I'll take you up on that Keith, for both, if you still have them. Close to having the main loop done. Grandchildren are coming last week of the month. Would love for them to be able to use the whole loop. They were happy to use the 18" section I had just to learn to use Railpro.
