Lisa, Welcome Aboard. My great-grandfather, Goley Robinson, worked on at least two of Houck's lines; the Cape Girardeau Southwestern and Cape Girardeau Northern. Later he worked the Frisco from Chaffee to Poplar Bluff and Chaffee to Memphis. Check out the Cape Girardeau thread http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?threads/cape-girardeau-mo.769/ for a deep dive into all things railroad in the Cape area and the St Louis Subdivision thread http://www.frisco.org/shipit/index.php?forums/st-louis-subdivision.53/ for more about Houck lines that became parts of the Frisco. I had an uncle, Robert Snider that had a sister that married into the Boswell family in Cape.
