Great to see what is perhaps my favorite SL-SF freight depot restored to a good, modern use.

I noticed yesterday in Kansas City, MO that some of the old freight warehouses near Kansas City Union Station along Broadway are being touted as studios/lofts.

I bet those are going for a premium, but what a fun location to live even today!

Are there any drawing as of the freight house that would help me to build a model of that building?

    Thanks for help.

And it's kitty-corner from the Midland Valley depot, which is fortunately also restored and in use as the Three Rivers Museum.

It is a shame the Muskogee Roads office building is in such sad shape. :(

The former Frisco trackage from downtown to the Arkansas River is also still in use by BNSF to reach the Georgia-Pacific plant.

I've got a shot of the freight depot myself, which I took back in late November.

I am glad they recognize the heritage of the depot.

Please see the following link for a street side view of the Muskogee freight house.

These views are of the northeast corner of the freight house. Railroad west is to the left. The truck docks shown are on the Elgin Avenue (north side) of the building. The former freight house tracks were on the south side. The Frisco's Muskogee passenger depot was 1 block east at the corner of South 2nd Street and Elgin Avenue.

The freight house address is 401 South 3rd Street. The building has been remodeled and since 2003 has been home to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. http://www.oklahomamusichalloffame.com/

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!
