Central Division - Fort Smith Subdivision Industrial Schematics Industrial Track Diagrams I received from Allen Stanley.
Attached are Central Division - Ft Smith Subdivision Industry Schematics, in jpg format thanks to Steve Marquess (SteveM).
Unfortunately, the cover sheet was not included in either of the supplied schematics; it would have identified the date. Steve's answer in post 6 below.
I've not been on the site a lot lately, and looking around got me back on this string. There was no date on the package of diagrams that I got from Ron Williams (R.I.P.) He wasn't sure either, as I recall. I used these to some extent in laying out my track plan and selecting industry names. A few I changed as a guess since my personal experience driving around Fort Scott started 25 years after my period (1980.) I got some help from David McDonald and John Dill, including BN's first version of their track designations in the Whirlpool area. Also got the 1980 KCS charts after I had that area all nailed down and wired. The package also had Rogers, Springdale and Fayetteville, with which I am more familiar. They lead me to believe the charts are from the 50's. Lots of oil dealers on team tracks, grocery distributors, etc. I was recently looking at the Fayetteville sheets--what a fabulous switching layout that could be in the right time period. Need to see if those are posted anywhere.
I am looking for the Rogers and Springdale schematics. I’m sure they are around here somewhere. Can somebody direct me where to find them? All I see above is Fayetteville and Fort Smith?
Industry Schematics for Rogers and Springdale have not been shared by anyone up to this point. They are out "there" somewhere, just not on this forum.
