    Carbon Hill, AL

Concrete coaling tower at Carbon Hill, AL.

Built late twenties, last used 1951, demolished July, 1976.

Twelve charges of ammonium nitrate used to topple the concrete structure into a large hole on the west side of the chute. Wrecking ball completed the demolition.

    View looking Northeast.
