It's a very impressive model, especially if it comes already weathered as the illustration suggests. It's also kind of an odd choice considering that (1) the SD38-2 was generally not well-received (81 total units sold) and (2) Frisco rostered only four examples (#296-299) Two of them spent their time in hump service at Tennessee Yard in Memphis, and the other two were similarly assigned to Cherokee Yard in Tulsa. I imagine they rarely, if ever, saw much road service. Still cool, though. GS
That's a fine looking locomotive. I know nothing about V modeling. I have a question. If you buy this, is it only this unit you get? Or can you change numbers and make another copy.
I haven't purchased it yet, but I believe it has something called "ARN" (Automatic Running Numbers) So it chooses a number (A number within numbers specified) automatically upon placement on Tracks and can change number in In-Game Locomotive properties
