Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Same thing happened to me, and I have been on this board in months. I came to see the PM, and there was nothing in the inbox. My message was the exact one as yours.
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Thanks for the notes, folks. If anyone gets spam like mentioned in this thread, please send me a note, immediately. We have been trying to keep the spam out, and I thought we had succeeded. Looks like the moron bots have figured out another way to spam us. Best Regards, mike
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Howdy folks, I did some research and this specific hack was done by a bot that has been around for about three months. I made some changes to configuration that should prevent them in the future. If you get one, be sure to contact me. Thanks for supporting Frisco.org, mike
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Hey Mike, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of it. Other places I've been on have lost months worth of posts trying to fight stuff like this, glad you've found a solution and the impact has been minimal!
Same thing happened to me @ 0334 this a.m. I got the same dribble, and no pm msg when I signed in. Hope you're able to get this strightened out :O) Sincerely: Bob
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? I received the same email as the other have already noted. Just wanted to let you know. John
Haven't visited this site in months. This screwy message made me come look. Saw the thread on Birmingham Rails, and am putting in an order. Hope they haven't run out. I am about to faint under the concept that one piece of spam actually did something worthwhile. George
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Recived same messange today my mom almost replyed but i showed her it was a scam.
Re: Frisco Library Hacked?? Howdy, Several of you may receive this SPAM message, but the sender was banned and deleted from FRISCrg, so she/he has not posted any new messages since banned. If you receive SPAM from someone besides "Jeannette", please let me know. These things pop up sometimes, and with your help, we can stay on top of keep them out of Frisco country. Best Regards, mike
