There was one of those on the north side of the tracks at Main Ave. across from the Springfield depot in the 1940's. It was gone when they put in electric flashers.

Just started building one of these structures, and trying to figure out if there was a standard paint scheme.

In the absence of any compelling evidence to the contrary, I'm inclined to use Karl's excellent resource on depot colors as a guide, e.g. sticking to the c. 1940-1965 "Livery 4" of gray with white trim.

I've used this on a tool/car shed that I built to go next to the Olathe depot, and I think that it lends a good, consistent "Frisco" look to the various buildings on the depot grounds.

    Best Regards,
