Being that heavily weathered, gotta be at the end. I never liked weathered engines on layouts. Meant the shops and the crews weren’t caring for them any more. On my layout there’s pride in our beautiful engines , where there will never be a “transition” and steam will live unchallenged and unthreatened forever .
