At Bristow, OK the sole remaining steel Frisco Water Tower is still standing, although as of 06-22-24, its exterior had long lost its original paint. The Bristow Historical Society is raising funds to have it painted and restored to its original appearance along with removing all of the ancillary junk that had been mounted on it over the years. When we visited, I was told they had not been able to determine what color it should be and how it should be decorated. I told them of the Frisco.org forum and the resources we have to offer. I also followed up with an email and attached a picture of the water tower that was in Wittenberg, Mo, and also attached the appropriate Frisco Lines coonskin as a pdf file for guidance. The Bristow Historical Society can be contacted at (918) 367-9335, or contactus@bristowhistory.org. It would be great for all of us to pitch in a little to help preserve that tower. I seeded the pot well.
