I second this observation .... The bands, from my perspective, look great! The tank siding looks a little weak - I think you should have used individual boards?
Looks great!! As far as crooked legs are concerned, I have yet to see any man-made structure that over time, has not drooped from that age old problem of gravity!! I may have to think about a Frisco tank for the outdoor RR. I have a Pola kit tank built up, but a Frisco design would be fab!!
Thanks, guys. Tonight was slow but after adding some scenery I decided to make the water gauge thing on the side. I used very fine wire for the line hanging down it and used some fine red wire insulation cut in half for the weight or indicator hanging at the end of it. It is crude when viewed up close (especially in a photo ) but looks OK overall. After construction is complete I'll add a dark blending wash and some weathering to tone it down and hide some janky modeling.
