The Northview & Frisco Railroad will be hosting its first operating session on Saturday, July 25th, 2009. By my count we have 5 people coming, we can accomodate a few more if anyone else is interested. The N&F RR is my 12" gauge railroad located about 15 miles Northeast of Springfield, MO on I-44. We will be operating with the diesel locomotives. Send me a PM if you are interested in attending.

    Thank you!

The Op Session went well, no derailments or mashed fingers (I use link & pin couplers). We ran between rain showers, so the rail was very slick. We ended up using the steamer, and with the wet rail we had to get a run at the grades and one time had to double Bunker Hill, our ruling grade. I was so busy that I didn't take any pictures, but it was fun... and tiring!

I want thank James for hosting the Op Session. He and his wife are very gracious hosts. I had a blast. The track is lay-of-the-land and flows very nicely through the woods. I highly recommend attending to anyone that might be able to participate. Attached are some of the pictures that I took. This is a link to his website: http://www.nfrailroad.com/
