There has been some discussion in a different thread about sound decoders relating to the sound of turbo-charged vs. non-turbocharged EMD locomotives. My question here is simple. Which EMD locomotives were of each class?

    Bob -

For the Frisco EMD roster .....

    EMD E7's, E8's, F3's, F7's, F9's, FP7's, GP7's, NW2's, SW7's, SW9's, SW1500's, MP15's, GP38's, GP38-2's, SD38-2's, SW1, GP15-1's - all were not turbocharged.

Also not turbocharged - EMD repowered BLW VO's and ALCo FA's, FB's and RS2's.

    EMD GP35's, GP40-2's, SD45's, SD40-2's, GP50's - all were turbocharged.
