Coming soon to a Railroad Model Craftsman issue, another install article written by me. Look for it in the January issue.

You’re awesome, Keith! Congratulations. You’re certainly my “go-to-guy” on all things DCC.

Looking forward to it, Keith. I have an old Ibenlite kit that I've been wanting to put in my O/W Bluebox SW1500 for the headlights and rotary beacon, but can't seem to figure out how to fit it all in the shell. Your article will undoubtedly provide some inspiration.

    Best Regards,

Got my January RMC in the mail today. Also featured (aside from my install article) is an article on Chuck Hitchcock's last railroad (I helped photograph it) and I practically single-handedly dismantled it.

Install a SoundTraxx decoder (sound or non-sound) and their excellent Hyperlight functions will provide what you want/need.

The Athearn Blue Box SW1500 article was featured in the January 2019 Railroad Model Craftsman.
Here is my draft as submitted.
