The 2017 annual TRRA (Terminal RR Association of St Louis) Historical Society publication is out - I received mine today, Issue 77 . Another really nice issue - topic is the Chicago & Eastern Illinois RR, the C&EI. Neat little railroad - my dad was a fan. He liked The Zipper, their main Chicago-St Louis train. There are many references to the Frisco and a few pictures as the C&EI had an affiliation with the Frisco for some time. The cover picture is neat - a nice color shot of a C&EI EMD BL2 in the C&EI's colors of blue and orange. Plus, a bonus! Also on the cover pic is a nice elevated view of a Frisco 9-panel gondola in red oxide with a black coonskin. Rare for a gon, it is empty and relatively clean except for a small panel of something sitting in the car. Another very nice job on the annual TRRA HS publication by Larry Thomas and the organization. Ken
