The wait is finally over. Tangent was nice enough to produce a Frisco version of a 86' Auto Parts Box Car. The other paint schemes I've picked up of this model are very nice, as is everything that Tangent produces. Tangent doesn't allow retailers to discount their products very much, if at all. They do offer quantity discounts if you order directly from them, so buying from their website is usually the best bet. The discount does stack up across multiple products, maxing out at 20.5% for 24 items in a single cart. That would drop the price per unit from $56.95 to $45.27. https://www.tangentscalemodels.com/discounts https://www.tangentscalemodels.com/product/st-louis-san-francisco-slsf-delivery-1970/
Now available at your local hobby shop. Midwest Model Railroad in Independence, Missouri lists all six numbers as available for $56.95 per car. Their standard is shipping on orders within 24 hours. Please see https://midwestmodelrr.com/ho-scale/. They are also available from other shops or direct from Tangent Scale Models. Hope this helps. Thanks! Mark
I placed an order with Tangent over the weekend. My stuff has been boxed but hasn't actually made it to the post office yet according to tracking, so it'll probably be next week before I see mine.
