I sure wish I could but alas a career change has all but ended my modeling efforts. The birth of two grand children has made this weekend a little hectic. I hope you enjoy the meet.

I gotta get the new train room built first. Hopefully when that is completed late this summer, I can start going to local meets again. I know I will have a ton of stuff to get rid off/trade out and buy different stuff. I mean who in their right mind needs 148 engines????

It was pretty normal Springfield show, except no contest. Which I understand, we don't get enough good entries at our show to justify the work it takes to run it.
The Frisco c30-7s pulled freight from about 9:10 until 3:00 on our club layout. Never missed a beat except for one coupler getting a little weak.
I somehow got home without any new engines, but the Frisco gondola fleet did increase by one.
Got to have lunch with Steve R (trd6?) and catch up with him. Saw a few other Frisco folks. Didn't get to talk to Brad, I don't think he stayed long.

    Steve,

I guess I missed you all together, sorry about that! Didn't get to talk to Ron Williams of Ron White much either, hated that too. Did talk to John Sander, Ray Wells and Dan Batson though, it's always nice to catch up with things. Look forward to maybe seeing you and a few others later on this summer.

    Brad
