I am looking for either the HO scale Champ EH-263 or Oddballs 312 sets with the gold lettering used by the FRISCO on passenger locomotives. Does anyone know of any shops that might still have some of these? Jim Ogden
Jim - I think I have both of them. How many sets do you need? I'll be back home this week-end and can confirm how many set of each I have. Ken
I think two sets would would be enough. I'd also love to see the California Locomotive Works sets be reissued for the white lettering. I understand it is Joe Collias' original artwork Jim Ogden
I have one EH263 set. It contains gold numbers and cab lettering (but no stripes). You can have it if you want it. Send me your address and I will stick it in the mail. Greg Stout
Jim - I do have one set of the Champ EH-263 numbers & letters, plus also the S-39 stripes, but as it is my last set, I prefer not to part with them. I originally had a couple more sets, but they have been sold/traded, etc. I also don't have any of the Oddballs 312. I'm not sure I ever bought that one - I don't recall it, though I have often boasted that I had all of Tom's Frisco decals in stock at one time. I guess not! Ken ps - I do have an extra set of the Champ EH-256 white numbers & letters, plus the S-37 FFF emblem & stripes if anyone is interested.
Hi Ken, I certainly understand wanting to keep a set around and will look elsewhere. I was told Tom Stolte lost his artwork in a computer crash a couple of years ago so he is out of the business.
Hi Greg, This is my email address sjogden at att dot net; let me know how much I need to send you and I will forward a mailing address. Jim Ogden
