From Richard Crabtree on Frisco Rails Across Missouri.

Here we are down at the Frisco depot at Mill Street and Main Street in Springfield, Missouri.

We see Frisco No. 4310 4-8-2 Heavy Mountain class built in the Frisco West Shops in Springfield in 1936.

Sitting right next to her is Frisco No. 1049 4-6-2 Pacific built by the Schenectady Locomotive Works in 1910 in the 1940s.

Edit 3/10/2024: In the distance on the right is the North Grant Street overpass over the west end of the depot tracks and east end of South Yard.

    View looking southwest.
