The top center shot of the shop and engines was taken at Lindenwood Yard, St. Louis, MO.

There is a nice 35mm slide of SLSF 2000 Fair Play currently listed on eBay.

The E7A (EA7) is in its original red and gold with white striped "Racehorse" rebuild scheme.

You can clearly see the blue coonskin on the nose.

The bidding was at $31 when I checked a few minutes ago.

Who says eBay does not work?

A very rare item for the winning buyer, and the seller will receive a nice price.

    Wish I was rich. :(

    Very nice slide, Ken.

Another slide listed. Just thought I would mention that I think you can add SLSF 232 to your list of 4 stack VO-1000s.

Those spark arrestors on the stacks are awesome!

The bottom left picture of the Texas Special at Oklahoma City, OK.

Does anyone know where the top right picture was taken?

Looks like picture #3 was taken at Wichita Union Station, Wichita, Kansas.

Picture #3 was indeed taken at Wichita Union Station in Wichita, KS.

The shot was taken from the platform looking northwest because the restored Eaton Hotel can be seen in the background on the left.

In fresh "Meteorite" livery, no less.

How could you not love it?

    Stunning picture.

Trying to figure out what's going on with the rear truck.

    Not painted yet?

Sitting on a temporary shop truck while the rear truck is being worked on or painted?

Certainly leaves a bit of an "unfinished" feel to the otherwise spectacular freshly painted unit.
