Karl is correct on all counts. Train is moving at track speed. The two main tracks through Lindenwood yard are not under yard restricted speed limits. From Grand Ave interlocking through the yard is signaled. Back then, the evening parade would have been great to watch from the Fyler Ave bridge as #1 and 9 passed through. Today, it is restricted speed from downtown all the way to yard limit at Old Orchard. MEH
