I don't think that is a true Frisco 1200 (200) series International Car Co. caboose. The cupola window spacing isn't correct.

Does not look like a 1400 or 1700 either.

regarding 1228, does anybody know where it is? It was last seen in Okmulgee OK in 2000. Another site claims the caboose was moved to Texas, but I was in Sapulpa Ok sometime between 2000 and 2002 and saw an SLSF 1200 series caboose loaded on a truck headed North on Hiway 97, and the caboose on the trailer still had its "ship it on the Frisco" logo. I did not notice the number of the caboose but Sapulpa is half an hour north of Okmulgee and it almost had to be the 1228. I would love to know where it is today, dont think it went to Texas because it was moving north when I saw it........or did I see another undiscovered 1200 series caboose???? I would love to know !

Wow, that thing (1228/11556) was parked there for quite some time. I took some slides of it in November 1992 and it looked to be in good shape. I peeked inside it and the interior was complete, including the Motorola two-way radio.
