Does anybody know of any of the ex-ATSF cabooses that were painted into the Frisco Maintenance-of-Way silver-gray scheme? If so, which number(s)?
Does anyone on this list know whether the roof walks were removed when the Frisco received the Santa Fe cabooses, removed immediately, or removed over time? What was the reason for removal? Wood cabooses preceding them and clear-vision after them had roof walks. Frank
The ex-ATSF cabooses that SLSF acquired were not ever rebuilt into Ce-1 class cars. They were all sold to the Frisco as-built.
