The "S" would make it a Switch lock key. All Santa Fe, or AT&SF Keys with an "S" were for switch lock. I don't know why it would be any different of the Frisco.
Some of the older keys had a "S" on them all the newer keys don't. I would suppose The "S" probably is 50's or earlier. Just a guess for all you rivit counters.
