Puxico, MO. This is not the original location of this depot in Puxico, MO. It was moved a quarter mile or less to the south.
Hi Tim I also came across these photographs of Puxico, MO in its original location. Take care, Rich Ship it on the Frisco!
I painted my Zalma, MO depot in this same grey and white trim color combination. I hope it is accurate for the 1920s! Nice photographs.
Here are some photographs taken in the 1960s by Ken McElreath of the depot in its original location but in a red repaint. Thanks to Ken for the photographs.
From Richard Crabtree on the Frisco Rails Across Missouri Facebook group. Here we are at the Frisco depot in Puxico, Missouri. The Railing was laid through here in 1883. Puxico was settled that same year and named after Pucksicah, an Indian chief. A post office has been in operation since 1884. Puxico was incorporated as a town the following year in 1884. Puxico was part of the Frisco River Division, Hoxie Subdivision. The depot was originally located where First Midwest Bank now sits.
